George Linus Easton

George Linus Easton was born 10 April 1894 in Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri. He served in the Navy during World War I aboard the USS Texas. He married first in Lebanon, Missouri, Eathel Ezabell Wilson, from whom he was subsequently divorced. He married second on 10 April 1923 in Papillion, Nebraska, to Clara Marie Powell. He was killed on 30 November 1925 in an automobile accident in Irvington, Nebraska. He is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.

Evening Tribune, San Diego, California December 1, 1925, Page 21: Omaha Dec. 1--George Easton 29, contractor, living in Irvington, Neb., was thought to have been killed instantly when the car which he was driving overturned near Irvington late Monday. When found an hour later, Easton was dead and his neck broken.
