Posted at findagrave.com: Clara Marie Powell, known as "Marie," was born 6 Nov 1900 in Irvington, NE (now part of Omaha) to William David Powell and his second wife, Kate Iona Gallup. She married, as his second wife, George Linus Easton in Papillion, Douglas Co., NE. George and Marie had one child, Betty Ruth Easton on 9 Feb 1924. George was killed in a car accident in 1925. They lived with Marie's widowed father until his death in 1937. Marie and Betty moved to Adair Co., IA about 1940. Through a mutual acquaintance she met Theodore Leslie Street, a farmer near Creston, whom she married in 1946. She died of heart failure on 12 Nov 1954 at their home. She is buried in the Street family plot at the Grove Chapel Cemetery south of Creston.
