Fontanelle---Theodore Leslie Street, 67, took his own life with a .22 rifle Thursday afternoon at his home. Mr. Street, a retired farmer, had been suffering from a nervous disorder, it was reported. His body was discovered by his wife. Street had sent her to a neighbor's on an errant. A physician and Adair county coroner, Dr. C. D. Shope were summoned to the scene. A short service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ewing funeral home in Fontanelle. Another service will be held at 3 p.m. at Coen's Home for Funerals in Creston. Rev. Bruce Eshelman of Fontanelle will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Chapel cemetery, southwest of Creston. His body is at the Ewing funeral home in Fontanelle. He is survived by his widow, Maude; a step-daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Glen Peterson of Fontanelle; and two step-grandchildren. Mr. Street had lived at Fontanelle for the past three years.
