From The Melchor Engle Family book, page 301: When John was a young man he went to Hamilton, Ohio where he became one of the managers of the American Cannery. He was married there * to a daughter of Thomas A. and Lyta Robinson of Berea, Kentucky. After his wife's death he returned to Gray Hawk, Kentucky where he married the widow of Robert Baker. Laura is the mother of all the children. They were born in Hamilton, Ohio.
