William Alvie Kirkpatrick dropped dead while plowing in the field at his home, one mile south of Lowell, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. He had been in ill health for the past five years. The deceased was born January 31, 1866, on the same farm where he was living. He leaves his wife; one son, Harry; two daughters, Esther at home and Mrs. Wm. Berry of Lowell; one sister Mrs. Chas. Jackman, and one grandchild. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a member of the New London Masonic lodge, No.28, A. F. and A. M. The body was taken to the Elliott funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bethany church. Interment at Bethany cemetery with Masonic burial.
