Mrs. Mary Kirkpatrick, 82, of Lowell, died at Mercy hospital in Burlington Sunday at 12:30 a.m. after being hospitalized for five days. Mary Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, daughter of Sarah (Murry) and William Williamson, was born in Henry county, Ia., on Aug. 8, 1876. She was married to William A. Kirkpatrick, who preceded her in death. surviving are one son, Harry Kirkpatrick of Carthage, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Berry of Danville and Mrs. Esther Lyon of New London; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Dora Crosley and Ben Williamson of Lowell, Mrs. Glen Shamblin of Biggsville, Ill., Eugene Williamson of Burlington, Carl and Earl Williamson of New London. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Elliott Chapel in New London with Rev. Wayne Williams, pastor of the Lowell Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be in Bethany cemetery. Friends may call at the Elliott Chapel tonight (Monday) from 7 to 9.
