On the 1900 U. S. Census of Lincoln City, Lancaster Co., Nebraska, B. A. Kirkpatrick appears with his wife Laura and children Neva and J. Charles. B. A.'s birthdate is December 1869 (other records show 1865). He is a helper in a machine shop. B. A. and Laura have been married 6 years. Laura is the mother of 2, both of whom are currently living.

On the 1910 U. S. Census of Seneca, Thomas Co., Nebraska, Benjamin F. Kirkpatrick appears with his children Neva and James C. Benjamin is 40, Neva is 15 and James C. is 12. Benjamin is divorced and works in a livery barn.

On the 1930 U. S. Census of Cass, Fulton Co., Illinois, Ben A. Kirkpatrick age 64 and a widower appears by himself. He is a manager at a garage.
