William Benjamin Clason

After his mother died in 1881, he lived with his uncle Isaac Clason and his wife Melissa. In 1922 he was living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From book, Abigail Ferris and James Clason Their Ancestry and Descendents, by Fay Morehouse Medhaug, April 1987.

On the U. S. Census of 1900 William appears in the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, Roll 766, Book 2, page 291, line 30. His address is First Avenue North. He is a boarder in the home with occupation listed as bicycle mechanic. This was taken on 4 June 1900, he was married on the 12th.

In the Davidsons City Directory of Minneapolis in 1914, William B. Clason is listed as a bicycle repairer at 339 E. Lake.

On the U. S. Census of 1920 Wiliam appears in City of Minneapolis on Pillsbury Avenue with his wife Louise, sons William and Donald. They have a boarder Julie Merchant age 4 3/12 living in their home. William is a bicycle shop owner, young William is employed but unable to read census.
