Mrs. Flora Crowder, 57, Sesser, died Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. in the Christopher Miners Hospital where she had been a patient one week. She was the daughter of Matthew and Melissa Cockrum, both deceased. Mrs. Crowder leaves her husband, hallie; a son, Wilbur of Chester; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Isom, Mrs. Nancy Baker, Mrs, Mima Hammonds and Mrs. Trilby Bradley of Sesser and Mrs. Gertrude Crouch of Couts [Kouts], Ind., and a brother, Harry Cockrum of Chicago. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Sesser Church of Christ. Burial will be in Maplehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser.
