NEVINVILLE - Jess Chandler, 65, of Nevinville, died at the Great Community hospital in Creston at 12:40 p.m. Sunday. He had been in the garage and pump repair business in Nevinville for many years. Funeral services will be held at the Bickford funeral home in Greenfield at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. J. R. Beasley, a nephew of Mr. Chandler, will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenfield cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Eva, of Nevinville; a son, Rex, of Nevinville; a daughter, in Los Angeles; two brothers, Lloyd of Anita and Grover of Oregon; five sisters, Bess in Oregon, Sadie Von Horne at Kent, Emma Weaver of Creston, Mrs. Moore of Greenfield, and Mrs. Schnorr of Council Bluffs; and six grandchildren.
