Grants Pass (AP)---Grover Chandler, 58, a local man, was killed instantly when the automobile he was driving failed to make a turn on the highway north of Grants Pass and crashed against some trees late Saturday night. There was no witness. A passing truck-driver noted the wrecked car and reported it.

Rex Chandler received word Tuesday of the death of his uncle, Grover Chandler, near his home in Oregon. He was killed in an automobile accident. No details were received at the time of the notice of his death.
