Posted at legacy.com: Wilma D (Cowan) Polk, Kansas City, MO was called home December 13, 2016 at North Care Hospice House. Wilma was born February 26, 1935 to Julis [Julious] and Ruth Cowan in Eufala, OK where she grew up. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and two brothers.

Wilma is survived by daughters, Michaelle Polk (Mo), Kansas City, MO and Anita Hosier (David), Independence, MO; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brothers, James Cowan, Claremore, OK, and Leroy Cowan, Carthage, TX; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Wilma retired from North Kansas City Hospital in 2004.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, December 30th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 31st at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
