Research Notes
It appears that her first husband was Henry Dewar (1883-1962). They had three children Elizabeth Joy Dewar (1915-1984), Donald Bentley Dewar (1919-1993) and Duane Henry Dewar (1926-1993).Her second husband was Bruce L. Covault. At that time her name was Florence B. Dewar. They married at Rockford, Illinois May 1926. Source is Rockford Morning Star, Sat., May 8, 1926, Page 23. Listed Bruce as being from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Florence is from Gaston, Oregon. Bruce died in Seattle according to the Seattle Daily Times, Thursday, Sept. 12, 1946, Page 21.
Donald is listed as grandchild on Arthur Bentley and Florence (Clason) Bentley's obituary. No mention of the other grandchildren even though they lived to adulthood. Their mother only listed one child on her obituary, Donald.
Perhaps after their divorce two children stayed with the father and one went with the mother??
