On the 1910 U. S. Census of 8 Ward Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, Arthur K. Bentley appears with his wife Florence C., daughter Florence and mother-in-law Hattie E. Clayson. Arthur and Florence C. have been married 15 years. Florence C. is the mother of one, who is currently living. Arthur is a timber dealer. Hattie is a 63 year old widow. She is the mother of 2, both of whom are currently living.

Arthur King Bentley, a widely known Milwaukee contractor and a member of a pioneer Milwaukee family, died Thursday at Mount Sinai hospital after a long illness. He was 72. His home was at 2830 N. Maryland av. As president of Bentley Bros., Inc.,the firm in which he was associated with his brothers, Walter J., Jack and Thomas. Mr. Bentley had directed the construction of many buildings here. He had retired from the firm in 1933. Active in Masonic circles, Mr. Bentley was a member of Excelsior lodge, No. 175, F&AM, the Tripoli Shrine and the Jesters. He also belonged to the Elks' club and was a former president of the Milwaukee chapter, Associated General contractors of America. Survivors, in addition to his three brothers, are a daughter, Mrs. Martin Nilsen, and a grandson, Lt. Don Bentley Dewar, now stationed in Europe. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Gerber funeral home, 1300 W. Juneau av., under the auspices of the Excelsior lodge. Burial will be in Forest Home cemetery. [ A photo of A. K.
