Seattle Daily Times, Seattle, Washington, Thursday, September 12, 1946, Page 21: Bruce Covault Taken By Death. Bruce L. Covault, 59 years old of 3650 42nd Ave. N. E., manager of the Royal Typewriter Company here, died last night. Funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday forenoon in Butterworth's chapel, followed by cremation. Mr. Covault, born in Illinois, came here eight years ago from Milwaukee, Wis. He had been associated with various typewriter companies 40 years. He was a member of the board of the Kiwanis Club, the Washington Athletic Club and the Camber of Commerce. He was a veteran of the First World War. Surviving are his widow, Mette; and a son, Gerald Robinson, both of Seattle, and a brother, Lynton Covault, Tacoma. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles R. Olmstead, Clark Gallop, Don Stewart, Carl Mengedoht, Dominic Brace and Percy J. Perry.
