Funeral services were held yesterday for William Leo Kirkpatrick, 57, of 82 East 12th street, Chicago Heights. Mr. Kirkpatrick died Tuesday morning in his home. Rites were conducted by the Rev. Byron Carmony, pastor of Nazarene church, and burial took place in Beverly cemetery, Blue Island. Pallbearers were members of Fraternal Order of Eagles, No. 1059. Mr. Kirkpatrick was employed as a mechanic at Columbia Tool Steel company for 29 years. He was born in Sesser, Ill, in 1899, and had lived in Chicago Heights for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Mrs. Lilly Mae Slavik of Chicago Heights; two sons, William of Pontiac, Mich., and Noble of Crete; three brothers, John and Edward of Sesser and Glen of Zanesville, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Sample of Sesser, Mrs. Sible Heipple of DuQuoin, and Mrs. Mary Harris of Downers Grove and eight grandchildren.
