Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Military flag presentation will be conducted by the chaplain of the American Legion. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of memorials, the family asks those who wish may plant a tree in memory of Mr. Kirkpatrick.
