Obituary from The Argus, Fremont-Newark, California, Tuesday, November 28, 1967: Mamie F. Mannix. Funeral Services for Mamie F. Mannix, 73, who died in a local hospital Sunday after an extended illness will be held in the Chapel of the Palms Mortuary, 37447 Fremont, Blvd., Fremont at 9 a.m. tomorrow. A native of California, Mrs. Mannix resided at 92 Dessel Road, Fremont. She was a resident of the area for the past 70 years. Mother of Daniel Mannix, San Francisco, Milton Lemos, Long Barn, and Mrs. Dorothy Erickson, Forrestville, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Rose Wiliams and Mrs. Emily Rodrigues, both Livermore, and two brothers, William Fereira, Fremont, and Fred Fereira, Livermore. She also leaves three grandchildren. Recitation of the rosary will be in the mortuary tonight at 6 p.m. Burial will be held in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
