Obituary from The Herald, November 3, 1983: Emily Fereira Rodrigues, a longtime area hospital worker, died in a Hayward hospital on Monday, Oct. 31, 1983. She was 76. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 tonight in the the Chapel of Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave., Livermore. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mrs. Rodrigues, a native of Pleasanton, lived most of her life in Livermore. She was a member of Pocahontas Powhattan Lodge No. 10213 and St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mrs. Rodrigues is survived by a son, Eddie George of San Lorenzo, a sister Rose Williams of Livermore, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
