Obituary of Mrs. Marina McAdams. Mrs. Marina Elizabeth McAdams, 82, Pittsburg resident for a half century, died at 10:15 o'clock last night at the home, 306 West Fifth. Although bedfast for the past four years, Mrs. McAdams did not become seriously ill until nine days ago. Mrs. McAdams was born April 16, 1850, in Indiana and came here 50 years ago from Johnson County, Iowa. She and her husband, the late Walter McAdams, established Pittsburg's first meat market in the 1880's. Memberships were held in the Ladies Circle of the G.A.R. and in the Christian church. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. F. L. Pettit at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the home. Burial will be in Mount Olive cemetery. The body is at the Bowman chapel. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Ham, 306 West Fifth, and Mrs. Ora McDonald of Sand Springs, Okla.; two sons E. F. McAdams of Monmouth and F. E. McAdams of Pittsburg R.R. 1; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Spielman of Webb City and Mrs. Tillie Taylor of Electron, Wash., and two brothers, H. W. Haynes and G. W. Haynes, both of Pittsburg R.R. 1.
Hold McAdams Funeral. Funeral services for Mrs. Marina Elizabeth McAdams, 82, who died Tuesday night, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the home, 306 West Fifth, with Rev. F. L. Pettit in charge. Burial was in Mount Olive cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Hynds, B. H. Vanderpool, S. J. Shriver, S.E. Renick, Carl Lane and Dana Holden.
