Thomas and Florence Parrish appear on the 1900 U. S. Census of Washington, Crawford Co., Kansas with their two daughters Katie D. and Nellie Parrish. Also in the household are Florence's daughters from her first marriage, Alice and Iva Henderson. Thomas is a coal miner.
On the Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon Census taken April 25, 1910, the family consists of Thomas, Florence and Nellie Parrish. Also in the household is Alice Bell and her son Cecil E. Bell, age 7 and Iva Henderson. Thomas is a laborer doing odd jobs, Alice is works for a photographer in the reception room and Iva works as a stenographer for the railroad.
In The Oregonian, July 18, 1918, page 6: Simple desertion is charged in the divorce complaint filed by Florence Parrish against Thomas Parrish. They were married in Kansas in 1890 and separated in 1911.
