Blanche L. Ferguson

Albert Lea Evening Tribune, Albert Lea, Minnesota, Tuesday, September 17, 1968, Page 11, Col. 4: Mrs. Julius T. (Blanche L.) Westrum, 82, formerly of James Avenue and since 1962 a resident of St. John's Lutheran Home, died of a stroke at 1:50 p.m. Monday in the home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church of which she was a member. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Glenville. The Rev. Roger Allen will officiate. A native of Fremont, she was born Oct. 16, 1885 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Ferguson. She was a school teacher and had at one time served as president of the City Relief Office. Mr. and Mrs. Westrum were married March 20, 1909 at Chatfield. He survives her and is also a resident of St. John's Home. A son, Walter T. Westrum, 401 Garfield Ave., also survives. Friends may call at Bonnerup & Son Funeral Chapel.
