Westrum, 62, of 410 Garfield Ave., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Roger Allen will officiate, interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Glenville, with military honors accorded. Friends may call at Bonnerup & Son Funeral Chapel. Mr. Westrum died of a heart attack at 11:45 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was born March 2, 1914 in Virginia, [Minnesota] the son of Julius and Blanche Westrum. He married Betty Jean Johnson on Jan. 17, 1953, in Albert Lea. He was a 1933 graduate of Albert Lea High School, and worked for Wilson & Co. for 22 in the sanitation department, retiring in December 1973. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Disabled Veterans, as well as Freeborn County Pheasant and Habitat. He is survived by his wife.
