Phoenix-Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, Sunday, October 20, 1963, Page 114, Col. 2: William a. Carlson, 77, a retired poultry and egg dealer, died yesterday in Phoenix General Hospital. Mr. Carlson, 3237 W. Northview, came here three years ago from his native Iowa. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Mae Higginbotham of Phoenix; one son, Harvey of Independence, Mo.; and one brother,Arthur of Three Forks, Mont. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Chimes of Lundberg Mortuaries, 5852 W. Glenn Drive, Glendale. Burial will be in Rest Haven Park Cemetery. Elder Wilbert W. Wood will officiate. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
