Graveside services for Bill Garner, 54, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Unvionville Cemetery under direction of Comstock Funeral Home, with Jim Hopkins officiating minister. Bill passed away at Wichita, Kansas, and will be remembered by many Unionville residents. He was the son of Wm. A. Garner, a rural mail carrier out of Unionville for many years. His brother, Keith, passed away several years ago.

Obituary from the Wichita Eagle, Monday, October 13, 1975. William W. Garner, 52, of 215 Lamar, Haysville, retired automobile dealer, died Sunday of natural causes. Services will be at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in Old Mission Mortuary. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Linda Fahnestock, Denver, Mrs. Sandy Schuler, Overland Park, Kan., and Miss Brenda Garner, Wichita; [ his mother, Mrs. Bernice Thompson, Wichita, and a sister, Mrs. Mavis Bishop, Fountain Valley, Calif.] Areas in brackets does not appear to be part of William's obit.
