Obituary from the Metro West Daily News 20 October 2001: Natick---Evelyn M. (Curtin) Cartier, 95, of Natick, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Concord, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Cartier. Born in Winthrop, a daughter of the late David and Myrtle (Clason) Curtin, she lived in Natick for the past 33 years. She leaves one daughter, Janet Tomasello-Gilfix of Harvard; one son, Fred J. Cartier of Natick; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m., at St. Linus Church, Natick. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Natick. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements by the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home at Natick Common.
