Mobile Register, Mobile, Alabama, Monday January 24, 1972, Page 36: Mrs. Bessie Ott Kirkpatrick---Native of Clarke County, Ala., resident of Mobile for the past 55 years, died at a local hospital Friday, Jan. 21, 1972, at 6:20 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Dewey Kirkpatrick; two daughters, Mrs. Doris K. Lawshe and Mrs. Jeanette K. Rowell, all of Mobile; grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Monday, Jan. 24, 1972, at 11 a.m. with interment in Pine Crest Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the Older Adult Ministry of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church. Visitation at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, west of Sage Avenue in charge of arrangements.
