James Galloway, received a Crown Grant for Lot 10, Concession 4, on Dec. 24, 1817. 300 acres. His Will was prepared in March of 1832. The Document gave the names of some the of children and his wife. I have not proved this, but it is possible that JAMES MARSHALL GALLOWAY, born 14 Feb.1783 at Dunfermine, Fife Scotland. Who's parents were James Balfour Galloway & Isabella Marshall.
