Francis (Frank) GORDON

(Abt 31 Jul 1859 - 9 Oct 1890)

Frank ran the family farm in Currenturpane, Co. Roscommon. He died of heart failure in 1890 aged just 31 and left his effects, worth £654 6s 2d, to his widow, Mary Ellen.

In 1910 Mary Ellen and her three children children moved to a farm in Bohagh (Boho), Ballintubber. John and Brigid Mearon took over the Gordon farm in Currenturpane.
