Cormac GORDON

Sponsors at Cormac's baptism were James Beirne and Elizabeth Gordon.

Cormac became a medical doctor and had a practice in Elphin, Co. Roscommon prior to his appointment as Medical Officer of Ballinameen Dispensary District, Co. Roscommon. Owing to failing health Cormac retired early. He was only 45 years old when he died in the St. John of God hospital in Dublin. The cause of death was "general paralysis". Cormac left his estate, worth, £618 16s, to his sister Kate.
