INDIAN BAYOU - Jesse W. Hoffpauir Sr., 88, died at 6:25 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, at a Crowley nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Indian Bayou Methodist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be observed at the church from 9 a.m. today until time of services. Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2005, in Indian Bayou Methodist Church in Indian Bayou, with the Rev. Paul Estes officiating, for Jesse W. Hoffpauir, Sr., 88, of Crowley, who died at 6:25 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, in the Crowley Guest Home. Burial was in the Indian Bayou United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the Indian Bayou Methodist Church. He is survived by one daughter and her husband, Brenda and Joe Hargrave, Rayne; one daughter-in-law, Rita Hoffpauir, Lake Charles; two sisters, Agnes Dixon, Orange, Texas, and Vernell Hoffpauir, Tomball, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Jesse was preceded in death by his wife, Tessie Hoffpauir; two sons, Jesse Hoffpauir, Jr., and Glynn Hoffpauir; three brothers, Clyde, Gervis and Carl Hoffpauir; and one sister, Hilda Boulet. Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point was in charge of funeral arrangements.
