Death
Obituary: Ferdinand Aucoin - Funeral, services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday for Ferdinand Aucoin, 87, of 715 W. 71st St., who died Thursday (3/15/73) in Lake Charles after a lengthy illness. The services will be held in the Wellman’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. B. 0. Smith, pastor of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. A native of New Iberia. Mr. Aucoin had lived in Shreveport for 50 years. He was a. retired carpenter and a member of Southside Baptist Church.Endnotes
