This was a release for Elizabeth's interest in her father, Beatty McMillen's, property after his death in 1878.Property

John D. Rowland saved his grandaughter, Ruth Walker, after his house caught fire in Marion Center, Pennsylvania. Both were burned and his house was gutted during the fire. Some of the goods on the first floor were saved but the rest were destroyed. Although he had insurance, it only covered about half the damage.Property
This tract of land was on Main Street and was 80 feet by 145 feet. The hotel was known as Mahoning House according to a newspaper article in The Indiana Gazette when it was sold to Robert McMillen, John D. Rowland's brother-in-law.Probate
