Birth
1850 and 1860 censuses state she was born in New York. 1870 and 1880 censuses state she was born in Pennsylvania. The 1880 census states her father was born in New York and her mother in Rhode Island. Her father, Gilbert Rundel, was living in Genessee County, New York in the 1810 census. She was probably born in Genessee County, New York since she was born in 1809.Endnotes
