LIFE
A. Birth year 1606 estimated as 4 years younger than Iwikauikaua.
B. Betrothed to Keakealanikane, although she was in love with her cousin Iwikauikaua (Kalakaua, The Legends and Myths of Hawaii, p 341).
C. She passed away within days of Keakealanikane, but only after giving her daughter Keakamahana to her childhood love Iwikauikaua (Kalakaua, The Legends and Myths of Hawaii, p 347-348). Death year 1644 estimated to be when Iwikauaikaua was 42 years old.
D. Fragment: "Chiefly ancestor of Puna, Hawaii, and Molokai of Hina" (McKinzie, Hawaiian Genealogies, vol 2 p 101).
