C. High Chief (Malo, Hawaiian Antiquities, p 247). He ruled in Koolaupoko, Oahu; his house was at Waikane, Oahu (Kamakau, Tales and Traditions of the People of Old, p 101).
D. "His wonderful feats of canoe making and other works of his were performed at Kipahulu. He also lived in the District of Koolaupoko, Oahu, more particularly at Kualoa, Waikane, and on an island called Ke-ahu-a-Laka, about two or three miles outside of Heeiakea" (Peleioholani, Genealogy of the Robinson Family and Ancient Legends and Chants of Hawaii, p 11).
