Individual Details

Caroline Fjerestad Hanson came from a very musical family. She was a piano teacher in her younger years. She and her brother, Andrew, made home records on which Caroline (called Lena) played the piano and she and her brother sang. I remember my grandmother playing the piano when she came to our home. She played so well even though she did not have a piano at her home at that time. She lived and brought up her family in the years of the drought in Hendricks. Those were difficult times for all the farmers and their wives and family.
