On that date, a property record indicates that her father was unmarried Henrico County Deeds and Wills, 1697-1704, page 546.She was almost certainly born in Henrico County, Virginia, where her parents lived. On 23 Oct 1752, she was mentioned in her father's will under her married name Ann Medlin.Virginia, Wills and Probate Records, 1652-1983 for William Owens, photocopy online at Ancestry.com Her father's biography including a full transcription of the will can be found at https://theowensodyssey.com/william.php,
On 5 Dec 1739, Ann and her husband. Nicholas Medlin sold property in Bertie County, North Carolina. (photocopy of the deed is online at Ancestry.com but the repository of the original source is not given). If she was at least 16 when she married, then she would have been born sometime between 1704 (parents married sometime after 1 Oct 1703) and 1723 (she was a married woman on 5 Dec 1739).
