Joanna Corwithin
(1625 - 17 Aug 1706)
[[Category: Salem, Massachusetts]]
[[Category: Topsfield, Massachusetts]]
=== Biography ===In looking at her(?) will on [http://www.americanancestors.org/ americanancestors.org/ Essex County, MA: Probate File Papers, 1638-1840 #6316], there is a notation, very difficult to read, that mentions Ephraim Curtis and his mother Joanna Cooper, dated Sept. 25, 1707. Since Zaccheus Curtis died in 1683, I think it is probable that Joanna remarried a man named Cooper. If this is an accurate guess, her last name at death (Current Last Name) was Cooper, not Curtis. More research needed.
Born: Great Migration to New England, 1634-35 Volume II C-F
Marriage: Wife of Zaccheus Curtis — married November 17, 1683. "BY 1659 If Jane/Johanah is the mother of the children, then the marriage should have happened by 1646. She could be Joanna Carwithen daughter of David - but that is unproven." Page: Great Migration to New England, 1634-35 Volume II C-F
Died: Topsfield, Essex, Massachusetts
