Mary died likely in the late 1670's. In testimony against Sarah Wildes in the witchcraft trials at Salem, on July 2, 1692, John Hale testified that the wife of John Herrick and her mother Goody Reddington, came to him for counseling some 15-16 years ago, in regards to actions taken upon her by Sarah Wildes. John Wiles also testified that at that time, Mary Reddington, wife of John, made an accusation that Sarah had 'bewitched her', but John Reddington asked John Wildes not to take his wife to court for defamation, rather let her get over it in time. In 1677, Mary had attributed her failing health to witchcraft. Hearn, Daniel Allen.
