Martha was born about 1744. She passed away about 1805.
Records indicate she was born in Pennsylvania, married john Leech while in Pennsylvania. In 1778 they moved to newly formed Rockbridge County. Virginia. Church records indicate she is buried in Old Oxford Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Rockbridge County, Virginia.
Martha is listed in the Church records of Old Oxford Presbyterian Church, see the graveyard records by Angela Ruley. She is listed as next to her husband John but his marker is missing.
Also DAR patriot records list her as being the wife of John Leech/Leach John was approved as a DAR patriot first through a descendent of his son, David Leech and Margaret Miller. I was 2nd to use him as a supplement.
