== Biography ==cannot find grave location for James or his wife, Isabella Steele Leech.James was born in Lancaster County Pennsylvania and removed with parents and siblings to newly formed Rockbridge. I can not find other marriages for James. He did not marry until Nov of 1800.

I have a will for both James and his father John Leech, both proved ln Rockbridge county, Va.James was exc for his father John but died before all distributed
I also have a copy of John's will Census records of Rockbridge Co. and Federal census. Land records for Rockbridge County. Copy of marriage bond for James and Isabella signed by a David Steele.Odd that I have not been able to find burial sites for James and his wife.Records of land for both John and James can be found in the Library of Virginia.More than one of his sons seem to have been assigned McComb as a middle name so not sure if McComb is correct.
