== Biography ==: Walter lived at Longdon, Staffordshire, and bought and sold real estate in Staffordshire. In 1612, he and Joyce sold 54 acres of land to Edward Hill. The children of Walter and Joyce were: (1) Thomas, settled at Kilberry, County Waterford, Ireland where he resided in 1634, died 1642; (2) Simon, married Elizabeth, a grocer of London, will proved in 1638; (3) Robert, also a grocer in London, died 1643; (4) Walter, who immigrated to Virginia, and had two sons and three daughters.
: Walter Aston died sometime before 1638. He is not to be confused with his cousin of the same name, also of Langdon, Staffordshire, whose estate was administered 25 Jan 1646/7. He is not be confused with his son named Walter Aston, who immigrated to Virginia in 1627, and died a Lt Col 6 April 1656, in Virginia. Nor should he be confused with his cousin's son also named Walter Aston.
