Joyce Nason, daughter of Thomas Nason, of Kingswood (in Rowlington) Warwickshire, yeoman, by Isabel, daughter of richard Baker, of Rowlington, Warwickshire, married Walter Aston, Gent., of Longdon, Staffordshire, son and heir of Leonard Aston by Elizabeth Barton, of Chester, widow of Thomas Creswell. ''Magna Carta Ancestry: A Study in Colonial and Medieval Families'', vol I, page 61 They had four sons, Thomas, Simon, Robert, and [Lt Col] Walter, Gent. and one daughter, Katherine, (wife of Thomas Gerrard). : A 2017 article published in The American Genealogist identifies additional daughters Joyce, b about 1592; Anne b abt 1594, married John Everard
Walter Aston, Gent., died sometime before 1638. His widow Joyce, was a legatee in the 1638 will of her son, Simon Aston, Citizen and Grocer of London, who bequeathed her an annuity of twenty pounds. Her date of death is unknown.
