In 1659 Mary Andrews married [church Deacon] Isaac Cummings, son of John [Isaac?] Cummings; Isaac Cummings was born in 1633 and died in 1731. He lived in Ipswich, on land given him by his father, whereon he built his house and maintained an estate of importance. He was a soldier in King Philip's war in 1675, and in 1678 is called sergeant. He held several town offices, tithingman, constable, selectman, town treasurer, moderator, and from 1686 was deacon of the church. Isaac married, in 1659, Mary Andrews (born 1638, died bef. 1712), dau. of Robert and Grace Andrews of Rowley.
Isaac's will was probated 19 Jan 1721/22 (per http://www.genealogy.com/famousfolks/lucilleb/d0/i0000174.htm)
