Marriage Bond

Mrs. Sallie Praytor Ruth, 62, of Arden, R.F.D. No.1, died early last night at her home following a long illness. Surviving are the husband, S. F. Ruth; five daughters, Mrs. Ross May of West Asheville, Mrs. Clyde Bishop and Mrs. Ralph Cairnes of Arden, Mrs. Jack Hardin of Bryson City and Mrs. Otis Ammons of Mountain Home, Idaho; two sons, Howard Ruth of Arden and Samuel Ruth of Asheville; three brothers, Martin Praytor of Fletcher, Robert Praytor of Horse Shoe, and Everette Praytor of Arden; a sister, Mrs. S. E. Tinsley of Newberry, S.C., and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. W.F. Sinclair, pastor, the Rev. W.B. Lively and the Rev. Berry Watts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the home this afternoon and will remain there until time for the services. Dunn and Groce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
