Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 6 from the Kelso Funeral Home, for Willie C. Carbaugh who died Saturday morning, in the Fulton County Medical Center.The Rev. Dr. David E. Hoover officiated, and burial was in Union Cemetery.Born Feb., 28, 1904, he was the son of the late Harry F. and Frances Fittery Carbaugh.Mr. Carbaugh had been a truck driver most of his adult life and was a member of the Corner Church of the Brethern and the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Co.Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Florence Rhodes Carbaigh; these children: George Carbaugh, Fort Littelton; Mrs. Raymond C. Mellott, Needmore; Mrs. Dolly Sipes, Herman Carbaugh and Edgar Carbaugh, all of McConnellsburg; Mrs. Virginnia Gordon, Clear Spring, MD, Mrs. Charles L. Wible, Harrisonville, and Alvey Carbaugh at home; a step daughter, Mrs. Margaret Alterton, St. Thomas; 27 grandchildren; six great grand children; these brothers and sisters: Danny Carbaugh, Star Route South; David E. Carbaugh, Phoenix, Az; Mrs. Melvin Edward, Big Cove Tannery; Mrs. Dorothy Carbaugh and Mrs. Ruth Garland, addresses unknown; two step brothers, Norman Seville, Mercersburg and Raymond Seville, McConnellsburg.
