Frank W. Bechtell

FRANK BECHTELL, proprietor of Bechtell's Cafe in South Mulberry street, Muncie, has been a resident of that city for more than half a century and has been engaged in business there for the past twenty-five years, so that he has come to be one of the best known restaurant men in eastern Indiana. Mr. Bechtell was born at Nenah, Wis., and was but a small child when his parents, George and Ellen (Birmingham) Bechtell came to Indiana in 1868 and established their home at Muncie. He thus grew up at Muncie and received his schooling in the schools of that city. As a young man he became interested in the restaurant business and in 1898 became engaged in this business on his account and has ever since been thus engaged, occupying the building he now occupies at 322 South Mulberry street, in the near vicinity of the interurban traction terminal station, since the year 1903. Mr. Bechtell is a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Frank Bechtell married Jennie Laboyteaux and he and his wife have three children, Margaret, 011ie and Helen. Birth
Frank was born in Nenah Wisconsin. He moved with his family to Muncie Indiana in 1868. He thus grew up in Muncie, attended school there.Occupation
