Information has been received of the death of Mrs. J. Howard Clement, formerly Miss Lydia Rumery of Oshkosh, who died at her home in Milwaukee, Thursday, following a period of ill health.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Weiss funeral home at Milwaukee. The body will be brought to Oshkosh and commitment services will be held at the chapel at Riverside cemetery at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Clement was born in Oshkosh, Jan 24, 1862, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Rumery. Her father was one of the pioneer lumbermen of this city. Mrs. Clement lived in Oshkosh until the time of her marriage after which she and her husband lived at Neenah for a short time before going to Milwaukee to reside about 53 years ago. Survivors are her husband, J. Howard Clement of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Alice) Deteinne, and a son John H. Clement, both of Milwaukee; and three sisters, Mrs. Francis G. Underwood, Milwaukee; and Miss Carrie Rumery and Mrs. Charles A. (Susan) Wakeman both of Oshkosh.
