Charlotte C. Reed Mong, 78, of 37 N. Main St., died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital.
Born Aug. 22, 1923, in Mont Alto, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Melvin S. and Dorcas V. Nunemaker Reed.
She was a 1941 graduate of Quincy (Pa.) High School.
Before retiring in 1986, she was a machine operator at Hagerstown Shoe Factory; helped her husband on farms in Waynesboro and Ringgold; and had worked for Freeman Shoe Co. in Waynesboro.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Mong and Martha Carbaugh; and three brothers, Kenneth Reed, Levi Reed and Edmond Reed.
